Italian Beginner A2.1
This level builds upon the basic knowledge gained in the A1 beginner’s level, consolidating structures and introducing new content. Students participate in and conduct simple conversations on immediate needs such as describing families, going shopping, working and travelling around the local area. Grammatical elements include the immediate past tense, agreements of past particles with direct object, direct and indirect pronouns, use of imperfect tense to describe events in the past or routine occurrences, when to use past tense or imperfect tense, future tense to talk about future events, special uses of the future tense.
Outcomes
- Provide basic personal and family information, including shopping, local geography, employment
- Describe in simple terms aspects of your background and environment
- Talk about matters in areas of immediate need
